The crushing weight or poor choices made, on my back. A burden made by a runaway, dropped in my tracks, And when it fell it was broke to hell, pieces scattered around, I came back to look for them, amongst this barren ground. The years come and go but the days go slow, it matters now. I came back to look for them, in this barren ground. Ten minutes late for eternity, a clock face painted on the wall. The last shard lay where the crows gave way, lost amongst the rubble, From the wall built to keep the storms at bay, that has long since blown down.
